Police Canines Capture Man with Marijuana in Couva Exercise
Couva detectives with the assistance of police canines arrested a male suspect for Possession of Marijuana for the Purpose of Trafficking during a sting exercise yesterday afternoon.
Couva Criminal Investigations Department officers received information that led to a sting operation. Police conducted further surveillance of a 31-year-old man from Lisas Gardens, Couva.
The officers later searched the man’s premises in his presence. During the raid, PCs Borneo and Charles along with Police Canines Nero 2 and Bon unearthed one black garbage bag containing 10 plastic packets each of marijuana.
The drugs were weighed which had a combined weight of 5.5 kilogrammes.
This led to the arrest and subsequent charging of BRENT WHITE who is expected to appear in court early next week.

Home Alone Escapes Police Custody
Homealone" escapes police custody from the hospital: Do you know where "Home alone" is? If you do, please contact the police asap.
"Home alone" aka "Marv" escaped police custody while at the Port of Spain General Hospital on Wednesday.
He is a person of interest and is wanted by Western Division officers regarding multiple larceny enquiries within the Western Division, Uncutt News was told.
