Schoolboy among three shot in Morvant drive-by

Two men and a boy were left nursing gunshot wounds after a drive-by shooting in Chinapoo, Morvant this afternoon.

Sources confirmed to ADD News TT that a seventeen-year-old boy, an eighteen-year-old man, and a fifty-two-year-old man were standing by a parlour on Wallace Road, Chinapoo, at around 1:58 PM when a black vehicle, make and model unknown drove near them.

Two of the victims were rushed to the hospital by good samaritans in the area, with the third being conveyed to the hospital by Morvant Police.

The victims are all from Morvant.

Man killed during a visit to Diego Martin

On Tuesday at approximately 5:25 pm, a 23-year-old man named Isiah Prince was fatally shot while visiting a 22-year-old woman's home on Waterwheel Road in Diego Martin. Prince, a resident of Pioneer Drive in Petit Valley, was in the yard when multiple gunshots were heard. The woman discovered Prince lying in a pool of blood and notified the police and emergency health services. Despite being rushed to the St James District Medical Facility, Prince later succumbed to his injuries.

Eyewitnesses observed two masked men running south along Waterwheel Road following the incident. At the scene, investigators recovered 24 spent shells of various rounds, including 12 spent 9mm shells and 10 spent .40mm shells. A team of officers, led by Insp Grant, Sgt Adams, and Sgt Romeo, responded to the incident. Prince was shot at least 20 times.

As of now, the police have no clear motive for the killing. The investigation is ongoing.

Police at "Waco Dan's" murder scene in St. Ann's this morning...

MURDER 206 - Police were called to another murder scene this morning at St Ann's, Port of Spain. There have been six killings overnight into this morning. In this latest homicide, Anthony Reyes was at Symond Valley Road, when two gunmen ran into a yard and shot him dead.

An MTS cleaner wrestled a cutlass from a pupil at Tranquility Government Secondary School on Wednesday 3rd May 2023.

Uncutt News Media was told that a female teacher at the school was accosted by a student with the weapon which has left her severely traumatized.

We were also told that the school has been understaffed for suite sometime.

This is the same school where the principal was thrown to the floor while parting a fight among students in November.
