"In their hearts humans plan their course, but the LORD establishes their steps."
This world is a fast, go-go place where people want things "my way, in my time and for my life." Many people think that the world will give them what they are trying to get, and it is up to them to take what they want. But that is simply not true. Yes, you are called to action, and you must go out there and live life, but God has blessings for you that He wants you to be patient and wait on. You can plan your whole life, all the way to the end, but the Bible says that the Lord determines your steps, not you. Give yourself over to Him and be patient and wait upon the Lord and His blessings!
"Father God, help me not to be impatient, but to wait upon You and what You want to bless me with. Give me the strength not to give in to the way the world runs life, because I know that You have all of my steps designed. In Jesus' Name. Amen." Good morning!!!

No, dear brothers, I am still not all I should be...
Paul was one of the church's greatest apostles. He wrote nearly half the books in the New Testament. He was a scholar, a theologian, and preacher. No one was more effective than Paul. But he had the humility to admit, "I do not have it all together. I have done my best, but I am not there yet." He could have let pride hide his weaknesses. He could have masked his shortcomings, but he was vulnerable. He was real. That is the kind of person God promotes. There is power in vulnerability.
Too often we try to impress people by putting on masks and performance to make them think we are this or that. If you have to hide your struggles, cover your weaknesses, and act one way to keep up your image but deep down you know it is superficial, that will keep you from your potential. Take off the mask. Be real. God is not looking for the ideal you, the pretend you, or the future you. He is looking for the real you, the vulnerable you.
Father, thank You that You are looking for the real me, for me to be honest about my struggles, my doubts, my weaknesses, and my fears. Thank You that You love me just as I am, and You want me to be vulnerable. I have nothing to hide. Make me, mold me, and change me. In Jesus' Name, Amen. Good morning!!!

WITH GOD ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE: When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment Mark 5:27: One of the ingredients of faith is determination, which is defined as “the power to make choices, set goals, and to act upon them firmly in spite of opposition or difficulty.” This woman was determined. She had already spent years and all of her money on doctors, yet nothing had helped. She was actually worse. Most people would have just given up, but this was one determined lady. Most people lack her determination. What stands between you and what you need from the Lord today? Make sure it’s not your lack of determination. With God all things are possible, not all things are easy. (Read Luke 18:27 and Mark 9:23)
